The Level 2 Business course consists of 12 units which covers a range of topics such as:

General college entry criteria for a Level 2 Extended Certificate apply. 

The business world is comprised of an enormous variety of different careers.

The BTEC Level 2 Extended Certificate in Business aims to provide you with a practical appreciation of what “being in business” entails and it will help you to develop the understanding and competency needed, when considering entering employment in this sector.

Your lessons will involve theoretical work, practical activities and problem solving. You will be provided with excellent resources and student notes.

Most students who complete this course go on to study a Level 3 programme in a related subject. 

10 units will be assessed through coursework and 2 units will be assessed through examination. Each unit is graded at Pass, Merit or Distinction. 

There is potential for you to progress on to a wide range of Level 3 courses, apprenticeships or into junior level work positions, in such areas as administration assistance or telesales operations.
