Coffee for cancer charity at HNC
Friday 27th September saw the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning come to Huddersfield New College, with over £280 raised for Macmillan Cancer Support – a fantastic total achieved through the generosity of staff and students.

Over a hundred eager and talented mathematicians visited from the nearby Salendine Nook Academy to attend four challenging Maths Masterclasses last week. The classes covered topics ranging from the design of bridges to the growth of viral YouTube videos.
Stars of Media & Film gather for Awards
The stars of Huddersfield New College’s Media and Film department gathered for the inaugural awards night yesterday to celebrate the work produced by students this year. The event comes at the end of another successful academic year for the Media & Film department, which launched a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production (TV and Film) last September.
