Director of Finance  

Could you join our outstanding, award winning College as our Director of Finance? Due to retirement, we require an experienced and dynamic professional to fulfil our Director of Finance role. You will be the lead financial professional within the College and a member of the Senior Leadership Team. You will provide expert specialist advice on the strategic and day to day management of the College’s finances. In addition, you will lead and manage a small Finance team. We actively welcome interest not just from experienced colleagues within education but those with a strong financial background from other sectors.

We are looking for a qualified accountant with extensive on the job experience in a financial role and someone with effective line management competency and a ‘hands on’ approach to team management and support. You should have proven experience of financial management, including providing management information, scenario building to inform strategy, leading and responding to audits.

Salary: NJC Support Staff Pay Range points 52-52: £43,223-£45,161 p.a. (pro rata for part time)

Director of Estates  

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Estates. Are you an individual who could lead our Estates Strategy and ensure our Campus responds to the changing needs of our curriculum and that students enjoy learning in a safe and inspiring environment? This role will see you achieving this through the effective and strategic management of all aspects of estates. This will include project managing all aspects of Campus requirements, including redevelopments, Health and Safety and planned maintenance to ensure our Campus is welcoming, attractive and provides an outstanding climate for learning for our large range of courses. Most of all, you will ensure our Campus is a facility that enables our students to enjoy genuinely outstanding teaching and learning and a range of exceptional opportunities.

As a strategic thinker with the ability to provide clear direction to our in-house staff team, you will have experience of managing estates and be able to lead a team to ensure that our Campus operates to the highest standards. You will be passionate about delivering the highest standards, and be able to inspire and motivate others to ensure our outstanding, award winning College has an environment that reflects our reputation for quality.

Salary:  NJC Support Staff Salary Spine 41 - 43 (£33,291 - £34,907)

Estates Operational Caretaker  

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Estates Operational Caretaker. We require an individual who can provide a high quality caretaking and estates management service. The postholder will contribute to the maintenance of a clean, hygienic, safe and secure working and learning environment. If you have the skills and experience to ensure our Campus is a facility that we can use to deliver an outstanding education and experience for all students now and in the future, we would love to hear from you.
