Permanent. 1.0FTE – full time . Salary: SFC range 1 – 9 for teaching staff (dependent on experience), which is currently £25,260 - £41,226 per annum.

Due to the expansion in student numbers, we are looking to appoint a talented Teacher of History to join our outstanding College. Start date: 18th August 2021

History sits in the Humanities department where the team also deliver A Levels in Geography, Politics, Philosophy, Ethics & Religion and Sociology to over 500 students.  Results in the department are very strong and are mostly above Sixth Form College averages both for raw outcomes and value added.  The team consists of 8 innovative and highly dedicated teachers who work collaboratively to ensure that students receive an outstanding learning experience and realise their full potential.

Social Sciences is a high performing department and results are consistently above Sixth Form College averages both for raw outcomes and value added.  The Department delivers A Levels in Psychology and Law, Level 3 BTECs in Applied Psychology and Applied Law, as well as Criminology to over 1,100 students.  The team consists of 12 teachers who work collaboratively to ensure that students receive an enjoyable, challenging learning experience and realise their full potential.
