Our BTEC Level 3 Business qualification is available as a number of options. Your choice will depend on your future career plans.

The Extended Certificate is a one A Level equivalent and you will study set topics, alongside two other courses as part of a mixed programme. If you wish to study Business as the majority of your study programme, consider the 2 or 3 A Level equivalents.
General entry criteria applies.
Your topics will see you preparing for further study or employment and give you a wide and comprehensive understanding of business activity and the role of management in controlling this. Topics include:

• Personal and Business Finance
• Recruitment and Selection Process
This is a dynamic, hands on and unique course that will see you learn by completing projects, carrying out research and developing your assignments. You will enjoy develop your knowledge through trips, visits and speakers and through preparing for and running your own business based fundraising event here at College!

Assessment is via presentations, group work and assignments and externally assessed exams. Each unit will be graded at pass, merit, distinction or distinction*, giving you an overall grade at the end of the course.
Our courses have a well-proven record of supporting students to progress to higher education or progress to the world of business. Our students often opt for business related degrees such as Accountancy, Law, Marketing, Advertising and Brand Management and even Social Work, Teaching and Creative Media.
