Could you be the star of the stage, or do you want to enjoy Dance as part of your wider study programme? Our 1 A Level equivalent in BTEC Level 3 Dance will see you developing your dancing talent, and exploring a variety of styles.
General entry criteria applies and relevant experience will be required.
This physically demanding and exciting course will see you choreographing and performing in a range of routines, and showcase your skills in a range of live performances. Topics include:
• Dance performance
• Jazz, Commercial and Contemporary techniques
Under the direction of our qualified and experienced staff, you will enjoy learning in our dedicated, spacious and airy Dance Studio. Regardless of your personal style, our staff will help you to push your skills. Visiting speakers and workshops will help to stretch and challenge your skills.
You will hone your skills in our state-of-the-art theatre which was revamped in summer 2019. This unique space features industry standard lighting and sound, giving you the chance to experience life as a professional dancer whilst at College.
Assessment is via examination and coursework. Please speak to our team for further details.
Our students have progressed to a range of degrees, and Performing Arts Conservatories. Our Alumni include Amelia Fielding who has performed in Flashdance and Mamma Mia, Molly Jowett who is part of KL Show International and Elliott Thompson who was part of the Phoenix Dance Theatre.
