We also offer a unique range of trips and visits, including to universities and from our successful Alumni. Many of our students apply to become a Business Ambassador as an enrichment. In this role you will put your customer service and marketing skills to the test, supporting us at Open Events and other activities where we promote our department.
Assessment is via presentations, group work, assignments, controlled assessment and externally assessed exams. Each unit will be graded at pass, merit, distinction or distinction*, giving you an overall grade at the end of the course.
There are not many careers that our BTEC Business qualification does not support! Your future career path will determine the level of business you study, but there are not many fields that do not benefit from the wide range of skills and knowledge you will develop. Our students progress on to a wide range of fields, often opting for related degrees such as Accountancy, Law, Marketing, Creative Branding and HR. However, students have also successfully secured competitive degree level apprenticeships too.
