The Huddersfield New College netball team train twice a week and play fixtures on Wednesdays.
They play in the British College of Sport framework which consists of a league and cup structure; these fixtures take place across North East England. The Netball Team benefit from the College’s £600,000 Sports Barn, with all training and matches taking place in this new facility.
With the completion of the Sports Barn has come a new partnership with Huddersfield Giants’ Netball team. The club bases its entire junior section at the college and this will hopefully become a long and fruitful relationship between the two institutions.
If you would like to be considered for the netball programme at Huddersfield New College, please choose this on your application alongside your academic course choices. Selection for this programme is by trials, and if you apply you will be invited to trials for your chosen sport.
You must apply for a full programme of study alongside the Netball programme.
