The end of a college year is always bittersweet here at HNC. For some of you, the last day of term signifies the end of your time at college, whether you’re off into the world of work or moving on to a higher education degree. Through the sadness is an underlying happiness though; you leaving means that we’ve done our jobs right and you’re now ready to face your next step in the world!
After several years of teaching and getting to know you, we’ve grown pretty attached, so we couldn’t let you leave college without one last hurrah; the Leavers’ Lunch!
This year’s event was a huge success, and at points so busy, it was difficult to move! It was so lovely to see so many of you celebrating your college achievements, with many of you wearing our super Leavers’ Hoodies with style (we especially enjoyed Jess’ customised hoodie!).
After stuffing yourselves with pizza, listening to some beautiful live music and having your picture taken at the photobooth, it really was time for you to go. The only thing standing between you and the rest of forever is your exams, and we have every faith that come results day, all your hard work will have paid off.
We hope to see you all at results day (August 14th!) and we wish you the very best for your future.
