Sports students from Huddersfield New College recently held a training session for 50 GCSE PE students from Royds Hall High School. The year 11 pupils were treated to a busy day, including a game or two of Badminton in our Sports Barn, a training session in our fully equipped Fitness Suite, and a lesson on Sports Psychology and Nutrition.
HNC year 12 and 13 students led the session as part of their risk assessment modules for their courses. We love working so closely with our partner schools on visits like this, and our Sports Ambassadors are an excellent course of information for the school leavers who are hoping to follow in their footsteps next year.
If you would like to find out more about the Sports Department and the courses on offer here at HNC, why not pop along to our next (and last!) open event on the 14th January? There is no need to book, and you can find out more here.
