Next Tuesday sees Huddersfield New College host its Annual Music Showcase, with students from across BTEC Level 3 Music Performance and Music Technology taking to the stage for a show-stopping performance of an eclectic mix of music. Ranging from folk to pop and solo to group performances, there’s a little something for every taste in this student led show!

Taking place in the College’s Boilerhouse, doors open at 7pm. Tickets for the show are just £2 and are available from the Performing Arts office. All money raised from the showcase will be donated to charity.

Paul Hewitt, Teacher of Music Technology, says “we would love for you to join us at our Annual Music Showcase. With some exciting talent from both our Music Performance and Music Technology BTECs, this year’s event promises to be spectacular. Live performances form an integral part of the BTEC assessment, helping to prepare students for a career in this notoriously competitive industry. Our students have been working hard and rehearsing for weeks in preparation, and I can’t wait to see the final performance come together on the night. See you there!”
