Huddersfield New College welcomed students and their guests last night for a special Art and Design Exhibition.
The College’s Art Department and Costa Café were transformed into exhibition sharing a stunning collection of artwork from across our A Level Fine Art, BTEC Art and Design, Photography, 3D Design, Graphic Communication and A Level Textiles courses.
Students were invited to bring along their guests to view their pieces, and speak about the development of their ideas. Our new Year 12 students joining us from September were also invited to take a look at the exhibition, and gain a taste of what they could be working on when they join HNC.
A gallery showcasing a collection of work and some students and their guests can be viewed below.
Lydia Green, Head of Art and Design comments: “It was a fantastic evening and I would like to thank all of our guests who came along. The exhibition showcases the huge variety of skills and talents our students have. As teachers, we really enjoy seeing the creative journey our young people experience during their time with us and their growth in skills and confidence. Our formal exhibition is a chance to celebrate their success and as a department, we are very proud of our students and wish them the best of luck as they progress to the next stage in their careers.”
