Staff and students at Huddersfield New College have continued to fundraise for worthy causes all over the world by raising over £50 for Book Aid.

Rebecca Wilson, who runs the college’s library, worked with the college to donate all late fees for books to the charity last week, raising a grand total of £52.70.

The money will go to Book Aid, who tweeted their thanks to Rebecca and revealed that the total will help them send a further 25 books to Africa.

From their @book_aid account, Book Aid said:

As well as pledging all late fees for the week, the library also sold cakes and staff donated books to be sold to raise further funds.
