One of HNC’s recent Travel and Tourism students returned to the college yesterday to catch up with her old teachers and provide inspiration for the department’s current students.

Georgia Sutcliffe, who left the college in 2016, has since worked in Zante as an 18-30’s rep. She told the students that she loves working in the Travel industry, as well as providing tips on how to be successful at interview and how to prepare for living independently abroad.

Amanda Beirne, who taught Georgia during her time at the college, said, “It was lovely for our students to hear about Georgia’s experience and to provide advice on what to expect during recruitment processes in the Travel and Tourism industry. It was also great to be able to give Georgia her Progress Award, which she received to celebrate the brilliant progress that she made during her time with us at Huddersfield New College.”
