A Level Music students delighted an audience of their family and friends at an Evening of Music on Wednesday 29th March.
Students from both the 1st and 2nd years performed solo pieces from their recital programmes, and these pieces covered an eclectic mix of styles and genres, from Debussy and Einaudi on the piano, to a jazz trio improvising around Gershwin, to musical theatre numbers and chart hits for vocalists.
The musicians were joined by HNC Elite Singers, a vocal group, who performed a beautiful harmony arrangement of The Beatles “Let it be”.
Family and friends were clearly impressed by the recitals, judging by their big smiles on the night!
Jo Love, Course Leader for A Level Music, Commented “I was incredibly proud of the students. Every single one of them gave an excellent performance. It was one of the best recital evenings we have had at HNC”.
