We are delighted to be publishing our photo gallery from our annual Art Exhibition which took place earlier this week. This year’s exhibition was our biggest ever, showcasing work from our Fine Art, Photography, Graphic Communication, Textile Design, BTEC Art and Design, 3D Design and our Foundation Art and Design Diploma students.
Guests including local schools, the community and the families of the artists were welcomed to the exhibition and could browse the stunning creations whilst enjoying light refreshments. Guests enjoyed taking a look at a range of creations covering disciplines including sculpture, sketching, painting, ceramics, digital artwork and textiles. The images below showcase just some of the work that was exhibited with the artist who created them.
Lydia Green, Head of Art comments: “This year’s show was our biggest yet, and showcased some stunning pieces - all created by our talented students! Our course offer at HNC helps students to hone and explore their artistic talents and develop their specialism. We are proud to offer the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design which offers a fantastic progression route after A Levels or BTECs. The exhibition demonstrated how students enjoy a natural progression from the skills they have learnt at Level 3 to being able to produce conceptual work at Foundation Level, and prepare for their next steps in the creative industries. We are very proud of how talented our students are, and the excellent destinations they progress to. We would like to thank all of our guests who joined us on the night to celebrate the exceptional work of our students!”
A small number of place are available on the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design for September 2018. Click here for more information.
