FAREWELL TO OUR CLASS OF 2024

Today is the final day of face to face teaching for our current Year 13 students, our Class of 2024. Yesterday we celebrated their HNC journey with a special leavers event, and release of our eYearbook. A gallery of photos from the event and a sneak preview of the eYearbook can be viewed in the gallery below. The link to this has been sent to all current Year 13 students on Teams.

As our students prepare for final exams, and the next stage in their journey after HNC, we’d like to share Principal Marcus Smith-Connor’s message to all of our students:

“You have reached the end of your HNC years and will soon be embarking on the next chapter in your life. Throughout your time with us we have challenged you to be the best you can be and you have risen to that challenge over and over again. We are all incredibly proud of the way that you conducted yourselves throughout your time with us. The way that you turned up everyday, worked hard, and never gave up. I hope that you will leave us with special memories that make you smile whenever you think of your HNC days. I hope that you take what you learned with us and use it to shape your future. Remember to always aspire to great things. Set yourself the highest bar and work hard to achieve your goals. Remember to always be your best self. There will be times when life tries to knock you off course and slow you down. Don’t let these setbacks stop you from realising your vision. I hope that we always supported you to make wise choices, to treat people with respect, and to be kind towards each other. Finally, I want to wish you all the very best for the future. Please keep in touch and let us know what you are doing. It is always wonderful to hear the success stories of former students and to feel that sense of pride that we were a step along your way to achieving something great. Take care of yourself, of each other, and of our shared environment and always have the courage to be who you are. “
