A TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE: SHARE YOUR HNC STORY
08.12.2023As HNC celebrates its 50th anniversary of providing an exceptional sixth form education to the young people of Kirklees, Calderdale and beyond, we have been delighted by how many of our Alumni have contacted us to share more about their post HNC journey, with many offering to return to College to help inspire students currently studying at HNC. We are looking forward to a number of former students joining us for our upcoming Vision Weeks, the first of which will take place next week.
The wonderful stories our Alumni have contacted us with has inspired us to host a digital ‘reunion’ series on our social channels. This will see us sharing memories from the College’s rich history, and revealing stories from the many young people who opened the door to their dream career at HNC. If you’re a past student of the College, we are inviting you to share your memories, from old photographs to anecdotes, so that we can in turn share these as part of our 50th anniversary celebrations.
Rebecca King, Creative Marketing and Employer Liaison Officer, comments “As a College, we have been delighted to hear from our former students about the doors their HNC experience have opened. A number of our Alumni will be returning to HNC to host workshops and talks about how they have secured their dream careers, and share their professional advice. However, we know that there are many thousands of similar HNC success stories, and also that many of our former students would also love to share their memories of their time with us. We are therefore delighted to reveal that we will be hosting a ‘digital reunion’ which will give our former students a chance to share their memories and celebrate their HNC journey. We can’t wait to hear from our past students and hopefully put together a rich celebration of HNC history!”
