In memorial of Kristian Holgate, who sadly passed away in 2009, Huddersfield New College, supported by Kristian’s parents, hand out a yearly award to a student who has shown strength and determination in overcoming obstacles to learning.
This year’s award goes to Aaron Hare, who has worked hard at his studies this year and has shown a determination to succeed. He is currently studying a Level 2 BTEC business course and is all set to pass with distinction.
On top of Aaron’s fantastic work, he’s also shown an outstanding commitment to college and his education, with a sterling 100% attendance record since September.
Aaron embodies our principles here at Huddersfield New College and is a very deserving winner of this award.
