HNC Prospectus Entry 2024

45 | Support at HNC | Contents Aspire programme Every student at HNC takes part in our Aspire programme. These sessions are designed to support students to prepare and plan for their future, and become well-rounded, responsible and resilient young adults who are ready for their life beyond HNC. As a student you will experience a varied range of sessions from being supported to draft and submit a UCAS application and exploring the risks of vaping, to the importance of using your voice by voting. These sessions also underpin our careers provision, opening minds to the opportunities available. Aspire sessions also have a strong focus on building your employability skills. Each Aspire group is led by a dedicated Progress Tutor, who is also the main point of contact for parents/carers. Zareen Ahmed “The one to one sessions with your Progress Tutor are brilliant. They will work with you to make sure that you are on track in your studies and that you are aware of all the opportunities on offer to you. They are also a point of contact, and if you have any worries – either big or small – you can speak to them and they will support you.” Studied: Applied Health and Social Care Destination: Business Accounting with Finance at Leeds Beckett University
