The NC buses are a subsidised service, and are exclusively for the use of HNC students with a valid termly or annual bus pass. Our bursary scheme may be able to support students with the cost of travel to HNC. The route map opposite shows the NC routes available, and the current pick up times. All buses depart HNC at the end of the College day at 4.25pm and these routes are completed in reverse. Public transport HNC is around 8 -10 minutes from Huddersfield town centre. Frequent buses operated by local providers run directly outside the College. This includes the direct shuttle service. Please note that the College does not subsidise or run this shuttle bus service, therefore the availability is determined by First Bus. Travelling by car Limited onsite parking is available for students. Students can apply for a permit for the student carpark. Permits are issued on a termly basis, to ensure all students have the opportunity of obtaining a permit.
