THE BIG BUSINESS FUNDRAISER: JOIN US TO RAISE FUNDS FOR OUR CHOSEN CHARITIES OF THE YEAR

Next week (18-22 March), Business students will be putting the event management skills they’ve learnt in the classroom to the test, hosting a week long charity drive to raise much needed funds for our chosen Charities of the Year!

Across the HNC campus, students from the College’s Applied Business course will be hosting a range of seminars, information sessions, charity stalls and games – in aid of our chosen Charities of the Year – that all members of the HNC community are invited to take part in. This year, our student body voted for two charities to support, The Forget me Not Children’s Hospice and Save the Children, and this year’s Big Business Fundraiser will be focusing on raising funds and awareness for these charitable causes.

James Tindall, Faculty Lead Enlighten Business and IT, comments “Applied Business students host events throughout their time studying at the College as part of their assessments. This year’s Big Business Fundraiser aims to not only raise much needed funds for our chosen charities of the year, but it will also provide our community with a wider understanding of the importance of the work they undertake. Our Applied Business students running this weeklong event truly do embody our College values and I hope you will join them next week in helping our community to shape a better future for everyone”.
